String Quartet #2, Voyages

Voyages, String Quartet #2, reflects on different places I visited in the US Southwest in recent years. I envision this as an ever-expanding set of movements, as my wife and I explore more and more places in this amazing country. The current four movements reflect on my visits to Columbine Canyon, near Red River, NM; Lake Meredith, north of Amarillo, TX; and Clayton Lake, near Clayton, NM. The final movement reflects on the most amazing trip of all, namely my life’s journey that took me from my home town of Enschede in the Netherlands to beautiful northern New Mexico, represented here by the Jemez Mountains.
