Wilbert Weijer

These two fugues reflect my passion for the music of J. S. Bach, whose music continues to be a source of amazement, happiness, and inspiration. I started writing the first fugue in the early 90s, but left it half-finished. I revised and completed the piece during my renaissance as composer, in 2023. The second fugue was inspired by a trip to Heron Lake, NM, and is mournful in character.
